Well, since I've just gotten the SUG README and a conference announcement
(as well as some marketing junk about the conference), I'm assuming I'm
still a member, but I wasn't approached about running for the Board this
time either.  Not that I expected to be, but I *did* run in 1990, and
I haven't moved in the meantime...

I _still_ don't know what the election rules are, who the candidates
are, or what's going on - is *anyone* from the Board going to comment?
It appears 4 members of the SUG board have resigned this calendar year,
all citing "personal reasons".  Isn't that rather excessive?
