I'm trying to install Slackware dist. of Linux 1.09,
and I get as far as the "Uncompressing Linux" and a few
diagnostic messages, then I get a paging failure and a kernel
panic. I'm running an ISA-bus 16mhz 386SX, AMD BIOS, IDE hard
drive (and I did try manually setting hd params, but it
didn't work.)

And I can't install Linux :(

Any help is appreciated! Especially from a Linux guru near my house
(Brandon Allberry, where are you? :)
