I'm no expert.  I'm just starting.  But I've read that this
sort of error may indicate that sb.o depends on some other
module(s) that aren't installed.

I think:

depmod -a   will update the database of module dependencies

and

modprobe sb.o  will install sb.o AND any modules sb.o depends on.

These are just hints.  Please check them out before trying them 
since I'm a newbie.
