"use setserial with the spd_vhi setting". Well, I changed the /dev/modem link to point to /dev/ttyS1 (which should cover the above idea) and used setserial to set spd_vhi + sort out a couple of other settings. Anyway, it still doesn't work (no response to AT commands in minicom even) and below are how the devices settings are reported: ---start------------------------------------------ Script started on Tue Mar 3 01:29:29 1998 [root@localhost tmp]# setserial -a /dev/modem /dev/modem, Line 1, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x02f8, IRQ: 3 Baud_base: 115200, close_delay: 50, divisor: 0 closing_wait: 3000, closing_wait2: infinte Flags: spd_vhi skip_test [root@localhost tmp]# ls -l /dev/modem lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 Mar 2 23:59 /dev/modem -> /dev/ttyS1 ---end---------------------------------------- (and by the way, /proc/interrupts didn't indicate anything was using int.3) I think there's maybe something extra I have to configure to recognise the modem card, though I dunno what or how I'd set it up.. ???
