$I've been using seagate barracuda (2GB) and seagate Hawk (4GB) with my
$AHA-2742 controller with Netware without any deactivation problems.
Are those Barracuda 2 and Hawk 4, or Barracuda 2 LP and Hawk 4 LP?
I've never had a problem with an original Barracuda (the ST1xxxx
series, and in most cases for me the ST12550N Barracuda 2), and I've had
tons of problems with the Barracuda LP (ST3xxxx).
