G'day Moris, I'm not into the programming side of OS/2 but an home user fan all the same. That said, I have no reference to startup.cmd in "Mastering OS/2 Warp" and am guessing it is some kind of Rexx version of a DOS autoexec.bat command. Do you know where I can learn about it? Do you have working examples of such a command program file? I think it's time I started learning Rexx and this seem like a good way to start. TIA , Inaki -- Inaki Gonzalez Email:igonzal@ibm.net [Sydney, Australia] -- Morris Turpin wrote: > Here's what I use in my startup.cmd file: > > for %a in (d e f g h i j k l m) if exist %a:\chkdsk.* del %a:\chkdsk.* > > In case you don't understand the above, it checks for drives d: > through m: inclusive.
