May be you can respond this old old old question that I have in my mind since about 5 years... If we take a Pentium 100Mhz, and try to found it speed in nano seconds, am I right if a use this formula: frequency =1 / period so, period = 1 / frequency means period = 1 / 100 Mhz (100 000 000 hertz) equal 0.000 000 010 seconds means 10 nano seconds !!! Since we know that a Pentium 100Mhz actualy reach that speed internally, and in my case, on my mother board, the clock of the PCI and data bus is actualy running at the speed of 66Mhz, how can a Pentium 100 Mhz (66Mhz external) can access those 60-70 nano seconds chips, at 0 WAIT STATE ! ! ? ? ! !
