Hi,

I have a uVAX whose hard drives died.  SO when I found out how much it
was going to cost to get them repaired I bought a new 2 GB drive from
Micropolis.  Only problem is that Ultrix doesn't want to load on this
drive as is.  What I am hoping is that someone out there can tell me
what DEC SCSI drives are currently compatible with Ultrix and where to
find the device table entries for these drives.  What I am planning to
do is reconfigure the Micropolis drive to look like one or more DEC
drives.  This has worked in the past, so I want to try it befor I spend
the bucks to buy a DEC drive to hold the operating system (this will
cost me ~$1000 for a 160 MB drive; I only paid ~$2200 for the 2 GB
Micropolis drive!).  Any help?  I'll be perfectly happy with pointers
to info if you don't have anything handy.
