I noticed that an app I wrote, when recompiled by someone else under 3.0 had to be changed somewhat. I haven't determined yet what had to be changed or why, but am wondering. Does this mean that the present versions I have of Improv, Touch, Opener, etc. etc. etc. might not work under 3.0? Will I have to get version 3.0 releases of all of these? ----------------- J. W. Will I have to get version 3.0 releases of all of these? 3.x is supposed to be _binary_ compatible with 2.x programs, but as with 1.x->2.x won't be source code compatible. This means that apps which you don't have the source too are OK, but anything that you're gonna be recompiling might end up needing to be changed. This sorta forces developers to keep up to date, but allows users to run their same old proggies... la la la, -- :: Christopher Lloyd :: a74k110@titan.ucc.umass.edu :: Yrrid, Inc. ::
