Interesting. This is true for me (2.1) as well. But...
You can verify my point if you search for "map file" when select full word   
I get 19 in "NeXT Developer" and only 7 (!) if I select prefix.
Any guess? Fixed in 3.0 or 2.2 ? Maybe that is related to the fact that I  
use 2 words (Oh yes tried it) I just tried first search "map" and than  
"refine" and "file" now I get 34 with prefix. This is definitly a bug.  
Ahh.. I tried "Zilog delay" => 0 "Zilog dela" => 0 "Zilo delay" => 0
"Zilo dela" => 1 (!!!) got you guy!
=> Prefix doesn't work correctly if you use (at least?) 2 words in your 
search.

Now they may get an OS but how long will it take them to get a GUI ? :-))
