I have obtained a number of font style files from various ftp sites,
including psfonts.sty. These include ncs, bookman, avantgarde, times,
chancery, and palatino.
For example, the LaTeX style for Palatino text is:
% latex style using Palatino for text.
\def\@mrm{pplr}% palatino
\def\@mit{pplri}% palatino - italic
\def\@msl{pplro}% palatino - oblique
\def\@mbf{pplb}% palatino - bold
\def\@mcsc{pplrc}% palatino - small caps
\def\@mtt{pcrr}% courier
\def\@mss{phvr}% helvetica
\input psfonts.sty
I am unable to work out how exactly to access a font such as this, and its
variations.
Can someone please tell me EXACTLY what commands to type in so that I can
use these fonts.
Are these font styles only available for postscript output (using dvips)?
Or can I produce output on the screen, or my HP DeskJet printer?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Mike.
