The one thing I have yet to find documented is the ParamH and ParamL
words in the event structure for Journal Record.  I have been trying to
write a keyboard macro recorder for our app so that the user can record
keystrokes, assign them to a key and play them back in the current or
future sessions.  I was able to get it to work in the current session
with Journal Record.  What I need to be able to do is save them to disk
and play them back in future sessions.

The Recorder does what we want but it hoses up if our app is not in the
foreground.  For example, I had our app up and Word for Windows 2.0  I
presses a function key in Word and the recorder came up with a dialog box
telling me it could not play it back to the correct window.  Even though
we bring up and tear down the recorder when our app comes up and goes
away, unsohpisticated users often close it while they are running our app
because the don't know what it is or why it is up (as an icon).

Sorry if I missed relevent posts, I was out all week and articles over a
few days were expired.
