sound terrific from their own advertising hype, but I'd be grateful if any
real-world users of these would drop me a short note saying whether you love
your tool kit or hate it, and why.

I'm considering

        InterViews 3.x
        Neuron Data Open Interface
        Open Inc. Aspect
        Solbourne OI
        Visix Galaxy
        WNDX
        XVT

(Have I missed any good ones?)

It's important for marketing reasons that the tool kit do well on Motif
and Windows NT. Maximum portability and native-GUI compatibility are
important. (E.g., I would not consider InterViews 2.x because it doesn't
look like Motif or Open Look.)

If there's enough interest, I'll summarize back to these newsgroups.

(Please note that I've sent this to several newsgroups. If you absolutely
must follow up to this article, please edit the Followup-To header to
limit your follow-up to the appropriate newsgroup(s).)

Thanks very much,
