I have been thinking lately that maybe it should: I work in a supermarket, and Child Labor Laws restrict the following areas for minors: -Cannot operate a compactor or bailer (these machines today have safety devices, so that you cannot operate them while they are open) So, a minor cannot throw garbage into a hole, shut the door and push a button. -Cannot operate a conveyor belt -Cannot operate any item with a guillotine effect The irony is, the law says they cannot operate the previous items, but they can operate a motor vehicle (and we all know how dangerous they can be)!!???!! Mer To be nobody--but yourself--in a world that is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else--means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight. -- E. E. Cummings
