Methought I followed Aaron Ucko's explanation, but methinks I need think deeper now. <grin> I don't see right off the bat which I want. I'm running X, certainly ; it was THF's generous help, first with my startx and then with my connection, that got me here. (And, btw, I am indeed finding the GUI a great help, despite my predilection for keyboard-driven apps.) Would it help, for instance, with displaying pix that people email direct instead of posting them on a web site and emailing the url?
