Diamond Viper PCI XFree86 Setup

I have a Diamond Systems "Viper PCI" video card w/ 2MB on board. I am
trying to setup XFree86 3.1, but I can't find out what the port address
is. Every time I enter "startx" at the command prompt, X reads the
config file and then prints up a message "!#$^@#^ Port Address required
for extended IO." How can I find out what the port address is? I've
looked through the manual inside and out and haven't found anything.

Anybody have any ideas?
