Please offer a fellow demon user a bit of tech help please... I am not the bloke in trouble but Im his only way to ask.... He has purchased a Pentium 150 + Motherboard capable of 200mhz chip. After he assembled the whole system he gets a "disk fail (40)" message it then blips the hd and asks for a system disk which no matter what just blips the hd again... Sorry message is "floppy disk(s) fail (40)" The machine has apart from the above : 1 foppy 3.5 , 1 HD 540 meg, stealth graphics card & a 6 speed CD & 8mb ram..Ie its not a starnge set of components... The HD is low level formatted. The 3.5 does work and is installed correctly ??? All this stops after the plug and play line on the bootup / bios screen...Messed around with the bios but with no luck... Anyone??? Any help appreciated..
