In article <4apsfr$rr8@news4.digex.net>, joe@access4.digex.net says... > >Your example is bogus. > >Lets say you have a moving company and you can move stuff in one day >from point A to point B. However, there exists no road from point A >to point B where your truck will fit. Additionally, only one company >builds the roads. Is it wrong to say you can move a house in a day (I >mean, you have the means necessary), but the limits of the road system >may dictate otherwise? > Yes Joe, it is wrong to say that. Doesn't the company that builds the roads between Greenbelt and Baltimore offer quite a few alternative routes (Leased Lines, Frame-Relay, SMDS) capable of carrying some pretty *BIG* trucks (T1, T3). I guess those bigger roads have higher tolls but wouldn't you expect that it costs more to build a bigger road? So what you're really saying is that Digex is trying to fit thier BIG trucks down one of BAs little roads designed for smaller trucks because some obsolete tariff says they can. And now they are complaining about the road builder because the tires of their trucks keep falling off the edge of the road resulting in alot of flat tires, ultimately limiting their ability to deliver the furniture in a single day. Go figure...?? Mark
