I'm trying to get emacs-18.59 up on a VAX with VMS 5.5.
I've followed the installation procedures, and I've managed to compile
and link. When I run BUILD.COM which runs temacs.exe and dumps temacs.dump
I get an error when temacs loads the Lisp files:

Loading replace...
Pure Lisp storage exhausted
Thanks to everyone who answered, the problem was that some of the .elc
files couldn't be loaded. I moved them, so the .el files was loaded instead.
Since the .el files take up more space, I had to increase PURESIZE in s-vms.h.
