Since you don't say what you mean by "problems," I'll have to guess
that you mean that the lines sometimes don't appear.

It is a known problem that Ghostscript sometimes fails to draw
one-pixel-wide lines (currentlinewidth = 0).  I'm haven't decided yet
which of several ways to fix this.

There is also a bug that is specific to dvips output, which affects
lines of all thicknesses, but only on certain devices.  This shows up
because dvips uses the `image' operator to draw lines.  There is a
one-line fix for this bug: change line 280 (approximately) of
gsimage.c from
		  penum->unpack = image_unpack_8;
to
		  { penum->unpack = image_unpack_8;
		    penum->bps = 8;
		  }
This fix will be in release 2.4.1, planned for next week.
