I see nothing has changed with that company. What MCI promises and what it
delivers are unrelated in any way. This especially applies to large
business accounts. MCI will promise the moon and then deliver whatever it
can--which usually isn't much.

I have done one better than that. As someone involved in the
decision-making for many companies, I have systematically seen to it that
MCI is either not considered for new service or dropped from current
service.

Be advised that NO frontline people at MCI know the slightest thing about
their products. For instance, I asked "customer support" which of the Bay
Area cellular providers were resold under "MCI One". The answer: MCI
provides the cellular service. When I replied that such a statement was
nonsense, I got a generic "please call our customer service department
AFTER you have subscribed to the service and they will answer all of your
questions". In other words, MCI refuses to answer legitimate inquiries
concerning its service.

In the field of telecommunications, MCI has got to be the corporate
bottom-feeding leader.
