I have only experienced a lockup problem when Netcom was experienceing 
major problems.  

Even when i use GUI type software with my shell account.

The listing of problems dickhead posted was clearly indicative of a 
problem on his end - and he didn't want to hear that.  Fuck him.  And 
kfeaster, as well as other Netlusers who don't want to follow good advice 
becuase it might mean they need to learn something.

Read n.s.g for some info on the POP you seem to use to log in with.  At 
least I think it was the sf pop.
