Dear "father" forgive me ...... My sympathies for being in California right now. The people in your state can't seem to agree on where to put powerhouses. You can't increase the demand without increasing the supply. It simply doesn't work. Your own environmentalists have done everything they can to stand in the way of power house construction. The latest is now you want power from other states. Well, Colorado, Utah and Nevada don't have it to give to you anymore. Plants in Washington and Oregon have been abandoned, shut down. There is a new group of idiots that want to destroy the dams along the Columbia River because of fish. So enjoy the fish, eat it raw...you don't have anything to cook it with. You have a problem. Let the rest of us know how you solve it...without our help. Sorry, but we can't give it to you anymore. The plan from the Clinton/Gore administration was called conservation. You will never drive the prices down while increasing demand. Drive the demand down with forced conservation or simply find another form of energy. ...Ted "Curtis CCR" <curtisccr@mail.com> wrote in message news:92k3j2$qna$1@nnrp1.deja.com... > In article <3A4A785C.FB64382D@nospam.com>, > Father McClay <mcclay@nospam.com> wrote: > > anonymous wrote: > > > > How on earth are people going to be able to pay twice as much > > > as before to heat their homes?
