Seems you're suggesting that certain "stupid rules" that don't in
fact exist are a problem. Have you actually *read* the rules?
Have you discussed any specific situation with a CA Domain Committee
member to find out how you can obtain any particular subdomain?
Certainly, I don't ever recall having received a query from you.
There *is* provision for a CA subdomain based on the french counterpart
of an organization's name. They can have one any time *they* want one.
Talk to them instead of complaining based on false premises.
>I really hate the CA Domain committee, if you hadn't noticed. :-(
I've noticed, but I've also noticed that everything you've written
that I've read tonight doesn't derive from facts. Small problem there.

Perhaps you could support the liberalization of the regulations that
was proposed so that it would not be an issue???? We on the CA Domain
Committee don't think it should be an issue and we would really like
some public support so that it *won't* be an issue. If you do feel as
you write, which basically seems to mirror what we on the existing
CA Domain Committee feel should be implimented, then don't just sit
idly and let the opportunity pass by!
In the meantime, we are bound by the regulations as they are, as
we are not in a position to change them in any major way until the
new governing body takes control. We can however work with them
productively, as those I've worked with to that end well know.
[Maybe I should read ott.online more often instead of doing
Real Work (TM) for no money. :) Seems someone urgently needs to
dispel myths and fallacies!]
