I lived in Los Angeles COUnty for 8 years.
I am opposed to 187.
Assimilation hasn't happened because it's too easy to identify
people by the color of their skin, and it's very hard for them to
assimilate.

We need tow ork on that.
187 will make matters worse.

I understand why many people are fleeing the immigrants; it's a sad
commentary on how hard it is for most people to accept change. But
the change is going to come, and we have to either ride with the
wave or struggle against it, and the struggle against it, while
exhilarating, is in the end futile.

As long as our economy remains stronger than that of our neighbors,
immigrants will come. It's like in field of dreams: if you build
it, they will come.
