Postdoctoral positions for current residents of the United States,
interested in functional and comparative genomics and proteomics of
cellulolytic and xylanolytic bacteria. The projects are supported by
several grant programs and involve both ruminal and non-ruminal
bacterial species. The positions are available immediately, and will
be based in Columbus, Ohio, the main campus of The Ohio State
University.

I am seeking persons with proven skills and experience with a wide
range of molecular biological and recombinant DNA techniques. Persons
with an interest, or previous experience, in bioinformatics-type
analyses and (or) genome annotation are also encouraged to consider
the positions. The laboratory has access to a variety of DNA
sequencing, microarray, and mass-spec facilities through our
collaborations on campus, and with external partners.
