Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately to study the role
of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in the liver and
gastrointestinal tract, with special emphasis on its role in fibrosis,
angiogenesis, and growth regulation. Responsibilities will include
production and analysis of CTGF transgenic mice, structure-function
studies of the CTGF protein, elucidation of CTGF receptors and
signaling pathways, and regulation by TGF-beta. Successful applicants
will be highly motivated, well qualified individuals who can work
independently but are able to function integrally with other members
of the research group. Competitive salary offered, commensurate with
experience. Please provide the names of at least 3 references. If
abroad, please explain fully your visa status and/or requirements.
This work will be performed at Children's Research Institute, on the
campus of Columbus Children's Hospital, approximately 3 miles from
Ohio State University.
