A postdoctoral position is available immediately in Dr. Sherman. M.
Weissman's laboratory at the Department of Genetics at Yale University
School of Medicine to work on the refinement and application of
genomic tiling arrays and a novel global mutation screening technology
recently developed in this laboratory (PNAS, 2002 Jul
9;99(14):9346-51) to genomics and molecular oncology, with one focus
being the detection of somatic mutations in malignancies. Funds are
provided by NIH. A strong background in genetics, molecular biology
and biochemistry, especially nucleic acid enzymology, is required.
Preference will be given to qualified recent Ph.D. graduate.
