Why is it that these days Nokia is such crap and Sonyericsson is so good. In the days of the 3810 & 6150 Nokia was making quality stuff, but now their products are just toys & yuppie junk..............Look at the t68, after 2 years still selling for $500 here in Australia. No Nokia can do that. I had my t68i for two years & still love it even though I just upgraded to a P900........ regards

And usenet is as close to anarchy as fools like you will ever see anyway. You get to like that or lump it, fool. usenet has NEVER been about everyone doing things the way a majority would like to see them done. You get to like that or lump that too.

Only if you are stupid enough to claim that a direct vote on particular issues is the only 'true' democracy. And even with the approach the swiss take, thats much more complicated than it looks because no one, including the swiss, actually get a direct vote on every bit of legislation and it only gets enacted when it ends up with a majority voting for it. Even someone as stupid as you should have noticed that that just aint feasible. Just dispose of them in a virtual trashcan called kill filter. Unfortunately, they won't cancel this little idiot's account, so the only thing you can do is setting your software in such a way that such pathetic dickheads' articles aren't displayed any longer. far out, i piss off for a few days and u guys r still at it...good Yes Rod, its 6 years for the Senate ...I couldve corrected myself but i let u do the honours ;) and where do you think the idea of the Senate came...Poms dont have a Senate...tell me what other nations had a Senate on Jan 1st 1901...Federation Day.....and previous years when it was drafted/debated.....think how they where thinking Rod....of course they looked at the American system...where else would they get a point of reference? And the closest thing to a British written constitution is the 'Magna Carta'.....if you wanna go back another 1000 years.... but getting back to the point....equal representation equates to democracy....as close as u can get....the key word is 'Equal' so that Joe Blow from the city has as much say as Joe Blow from the country....aka why the Senate isnt equally proportionate and having a lower house offsets that balance...bloody good system...dont knock it... its as equal as you can get when it comes to population density.....no one has come up with anything better yet... I reckon its the best democracy on the planet....when we dont have prime ministers that can get away with lying....sadly its corrupt...thats a fact...and if u voted Liberal last time...u fucken fault... now we all suffer with the fuckwits.....and suck american cock too btw..... cheers ;) from those of u around the world....were talking about the Australian Political system....why, I dont know, but if you stop talking about it....might as well die....or give your life to slavery....
